How to watch Netflix on Netrunner OS?
Luckily watching Netflix on a Linux machine has gotten a lot easier.
Before you had to use a lot of tinkering and installation to succeed. But now, Netflix is supporting Linux via the Google Chrome browser.
So all you have to do is install it, and then log in to your Netflix account to watch.
Click on the arrow in the left hand bottom corner of the screen.
Choose system and console – the Netrunner Os terminal.
Here you enter this command
yaourt -S google-chrome
and presses Enter.
This starts the installation.
You have to say yes a few times during the installation.
And you properly also has to type the Root-password (Admin.password).
And then the Google Chrome browser is installed.
Click on the arrow in the left hand bottom corner of the screen.
Search for Chrome and click on it.
Go to Netflix.com and log in.
And everything is running.
Note, most Linux distros would prefer to use the open source version of Chrome called Chromium, but I have tried on Netrunner OS, and can not make Netflix work.
